Prayer: Living with Power

Let's take a moment today to reflect on the power we have within ourselves. No matter what life throws our way, we can choose to live with strength and resilience. Let's pray to embrace that power, to hold onto our joy, and to remain steadfast in our will. By living with power, we can navigate life's challenges with grace and determination. Remember, life may knock us down, but it can never take away our ability to rise again.

Prayer:

Father God,

I thank you for the power of the Holy Spirit that helps me to live with power. My flesh oftentimes tugs at me to do things that are not in alignment with your will. I thank you that the Holy Spirit gives me spiritual desires that overrides my fleshly desires. May the Holy Spirit discipline my flesh day by day. I decree 1 Thessalonians 5:23 which says, "May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." God, sanctify me through and through. Keep me blameless. Destroy any fleshly appetites that I have. May I not yield to any desires that are not holy or pure. May I live with power and authority and be discerning in what I say and do. May my flesh be restrained so that I am not acting out of my own intellect and logic. May I think with the mind of Christ and may my actions be guided by my Christ-like thinking. May my spirit override my flesh when it comes to making daily decisions. May strength and resilience be my portion as I live in the power of your might.
