A Prayer Lifestyle

If you've been following me for any length of time you have likely heard me say that prayer is our lifeline and should be our lifestyle.

We are living in some very challenging times. Times like these can have polar opposite effects on individuals. A person who does not have a lifestyle of prayer could become depressed. A person who has a lifestyle of prayer should be using this time to develop (spiritually and personally). A person without a lifestyle of prayer could feel void of purpose while a person with a prayer lifestyle could feel purposeful. Prayer makes a difference. The difference is whether you allow the times to defeat, discourage, and deter you or allow the times to strengthen you, and bring clarity and peace that comes from prayer. This could be a time of change, transformation, and extreme growth. Your prayer lifestyle (or lack thereof) decides.

If you do not have a prayer life, NOW is the time to develop one.

If you do have a prayer life, NOW is the time to deepen it.

I see so many people of faith crumble under pressure. Real faith is birthed through prayer and perseverance. This is not to say that you don't feel or experience the reality of a negative experience or time period, but what this says is that even though you may FEEL the reality of it, you do not allow your feelings to override your faith. Your faith should not be dictated by your feelings. If you allow your faith to be dictated by your feelings then all the enemy has to do is hurt your feelings and he has stolen your faith. Now is the time to rise up. Now is the time to demonstrate your faith. Now is the time to remind the enemy to whom you belong.

You have the victory.

You can't be defeated.

You are more than a conqueror.

Continue to pray in faith and as you do, you will continue to experience growth, transformation, abundance, and matter what may be going on around you.

I'm praying with you,

Pamela D. Smith
