I read a quote that said, "When God sees that you appreciate your now, He will start to release your next."
This quote clearly speaks of gratitude and patience.
We set all kinds of goals and then expect things to come into fruition the next day. We are looking for overnight successes and one day wins.
Almost everything is a process. There are stages. There are levels.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is quoted as saying, "If you cannot fly, then run. If you cannot run, then walk. If you cannot walk, then crawl but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward."
Oftentimes we quit-we give up-because we can't fly. The reason we can't fly is because we have tried to skip over some very important stages.
You don't go from crawling to flying. If you do, you have likely missed out on some character development and some very important life skills.

Today's audio devotional deals with living exceptionally. In order to live exceptionally there are some spiritual truths that we must learn AND live. Living exceptionally means that we live in the realm of who we were created to be. Sadly, many of us live beneath our potential and our God given ability. Living exceptionally starts with worshiping, honoring, and reverencing God.

Scripture: John 4: 24, "God is a Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
Prayer: God, I understand that I am a spiritual being and that I was created to worship you. Help me to tap into my inner strength and give you the true and pure praise that you deserve. In Jesus name. Amen
Affirmation: I am a spirit and I worship God in spirit and truth.
Great Morning,I greet you this morning in the name of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray that all is well with you.
For the next few weeks I will be sending you audio devotionals. I have received so many inquiries about Life, Love, Liberty and the question I am asked the most is, "What is Life, Love, Liberty? Is it an experience?" And while it is an experience, it is also a lifestyle. Jesus came so that we may have life and life abundantly (John 10:10). God loves us unconditionally (Romans 5: 8), and He sent His Son Jesus to set us free from the bondage and penalty of sin (John 8:36) so when we walk in the abundance, unconditional love, and freedom then our lifestyles become one of Life, love, and Liberty.
I will be sharing part of the book in audio form because sometimes things resonate better when they are heard rather than read. Thanks for sharing this journey with me. Click here to listen to this audio https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sy-5UW-l-4w

Prayer: God you are good and your mercy endures forever. Thank you for transforming my mind and making me new. I thank you that as I follow you, you will lead me into exceptional life, love, and liberty. In Jesus name. Amen
Discipline-We all know ourselves better than anyone else. We need to make sure that we set boundaries and don't make excuses for crossing those boundaries. Being spiritually enriched and empowered requires proper balance. Being disciplined helps achieve that balance.

My confession: I need discipline in time management. I will have my calendar set to work on a project for only a certain amount of time per day and when the timer goes off I will cut it off and keep going and this usually results in a short cut in another area.
My Lesson: Just because it's a good thing does not mean I can give it all of my time. There are other good things that are equally deserving of my time.
Scripture: Proverbs 12: 1, "Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, But he who hates correction is stupid."
Declaration: Because I love the instruction of the Lord I am growing in knowledge.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for your wisdom that you gives to all who love your correction. I ask now that you will give me a hunger and thirst for righteousness. As we grow in spiritual knowledge I ask that you will give us the courage to walk in the wisdom and knowledge of Jesus Christ. In Jesus name. Amen
