Spiritual Awareness Part 1

Spiritual Awareness

Genesis 3:7, "Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loin coverings"

What is spiritual awareness?

It is the understanding and the acceptance of who you are as an individual, what your purpose is, and how you/your purpose contributes to the greater good of self and all who come into contact with you. Just like with Adam and Eve, we do not fully understand who we are and what we have been assigned to do until we realize that we are naked. The nakedness that we experience when we are not fully aware is the void that we feel when we are not operating in our purpose.

When we become spiritually aware, we become willing and eager to cover ourselves in the things that God has created us to do. Spiritual awareness is the alignment of person and purpose. A lack of spiritual awareness is a detachment from purpose but when our spiritual eyes are open, when we realize our nakedness, we begin to walk in purpose, power, and potential.

Affirmation: I am good because I am God's

Prayer: Heavenly Father, you knew me when I was in my mother's womb. You know who you created me to be and what you created me to do. I want to be that person. I ask that you will forgive me for procrastinating and give me the courage to walk into all that you have created me to be. In Jesus name. Amen
